Refund policy

We hope you love your Moppet purchase but if you need to return it for any reason you can request a refund by email via the 'Say Hello!' contact form up to 14 days after delivery (or until 7th January for orders between 1st November and 24th December), so long as the item is unused and in its original packaging. Please then return the item to the address provided within 14 days of notifying us of the return. A refund less postage fee will be issued to your original payment method within 14 days of receipt of the item in its original condition to our premises. Please note: this does not apply to custom orders which cannot be returned unless faulty. Please see our Terms of service for further information regarding custom orders.

TAPESTRY & CUSHION RETURNS (UK only)
Returns of our tapestries and cushion covers are free in the UK. Please contact us as above to arrange your return.

ALL OTHER RETURNS
Customers are liable for return shipping costs for all other items. unless Moppet finds that the item was damaged in transportation or determines the listing was inaccurate, misleading, or misrepresented the item. In this case we ask for photos to be sent within 3 days of receipt illustrating the fault. Since many pieces are 50–100 years old we are unable to offer refunds or repairs if anything breaks after purchase.

Customers are responsible for arranging return postage, and we strongly recommend you return items with a tracked and insured service and obtain a certificate of postage as we are responsible for your parcel only once it has been received into our premises. We are not liable for any damages or loss sustained in return transit.
