Moppet’s Aru 123 Tapestry is a traditional crewel wool wall hanging, designed to become the focal point of a thoughtfully curated nursery or child’s bedroom.
An heirloom-quality gift for a new baby, first birthday or Christening — a piece that will quietly accompany bedtime stories, first words and the everyday moments of childhood.
Each tapestry takes approximately two months to complete. Produced in small, considered batches, every piece carries subtle variations — the unmistakable signature of true hand embroidery.

Yes. Moppet tapestries are made in the Kashmir Valley using natural wool and traditional, low-impact processes. Artisans are paid above established local wage standards and work from their own homes, allowing flexibility around family life. Each piece is produced in small batches, supporting the continuation of heritage craft and a slower, more considered way of making.
