It gives me HUGE delight, as we celebrate our third birthday, to say a little hello and an enormous thank you to you all for supporting my small business in its journey so far 🤗

I’m excited to use this opportunity to share some of my favourite small businesses for little ones below, whose brilliant female founders have been a huge source of inspiration and encouragement and have made the difference as to whether we sank or swam 😌

The Moppet Journey so Far...

I’m Laura: part-time magpie, full-time mum of three (under 6! 👦👦👶), and the one-woman band behind Moppet.

I founded Moppet during the pandemic as a way to carve out a little time for myself at the ends of the days spent indoors with my then 2yo and newborn.

Like many of us at that time, I was keen to beautify the four walls within which we were spending so much time. And where better place to start than in the nursery – a home for stories, imagination and adventure!

I soon realised I was sourcing many more treasures than two little bedrooms could hold!

And so Moppet began ✨

🏆 we have been decorated in the Junior Design Awards, Made for Mums Awards, Project Baby Awards and The London Mother Awards

🛍️ we have met dozens of our wonderful customers IRL at pop ups including H&M Home

🗞️ we have been celebrated in the press by Vogue, House & Garden, Homes & Antiques, ST Style, Hello, Daily Mail and many more

 

It’s been the biggest treat to discover you enjoy our Moppet treasures as much as I do.
