An fantastic example of a vintage ceramic 'Mr Pig’ money box in the smaller of two sizes.
The famous ‘Mr Pig’ money boxes were made in England by the Ellgreave Pottery Co in the 1920s. Ellgreave's main production was in teapots and quality domestic earthenware, but they also made figurines, tableware, vases and money boxes.
