A beautiful vintage 1950s Kumiki wooden lion puzzle by Hirokichi Yamanaka of Japan. In perfect 'new old stock' condition, fresh out of its box!
These puzzles were made by Japanese wood-carving apprentices practising how to carve delicate wood joint without the use of glue or screws.
