Absolutely enchanting pair of 1950s paintings, featuring woodland fairies or elves on a textured canvas in pale blue-green original wooden frames. One piece has been re-backed and glazed. the other bears an original inscription, showing the pieces were gifted in 1952. Both have slight watermarks to the edges as shown in the photos.
