This vintage mid-century Swedish handwoven woollen wall-hanging tapestry features a typical Gubbaväv or Rosengång design with Swedes in national dress, soldiers, footballers, women in red dresses and geometric patterns. Gubbe means “old man”, “chum” or a generic human, often older. Väv means weave!
Will look absolutely gorgeous hung or perhaps framed on a special little wall for a bit of lovely, natural texture. Includes no integrated wall-hanging hooks.
